About the position
The Class A Boom Truck Driver at Jensen Precast plays a crucial role in safely delivering precast products to various job sites. This position involves working closely with dispatch, customers, and the sales team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Transport precast materials and secure loads while ensuring compliance with maximum weight limits.
- Understand and adhere to all DOT guidelines and maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service.
- Check load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Provide proper customer service by reviewing invoices against loaded products and collecting delivery instructions.
- Drive to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes, interpreting maps for vehicle routes.
Requirements
- Licensed Class A CDL driver with NCCCO certification.
- Experience in transporting large, awkward, or heavy products.
