The Coordinator Special Programs Health Services, IV position within the Office of Population Health Improvement (OPHI), Office of Health Workforce Development and Access will oversee and effectively administer all aspects of the behavioral health workforce development and other related higher education healthcare workforce development activities. The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accurate, effective, and efficient management of the workforce development and expansion activities program processes to ensure compliance with all corresponding laws, regulations, policies and administrative directives that apply to the programs. The Coordinator will be responsible for the development, implementation, administration, budget, evaluation and analysis of the program activities, as well as the management of grant funding to support program expansion and alignment with Departmental priorities and direction. The Coordinator will provide direct technical assistance and training to stakeholders specific to programs and services. The Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to applicable Advisory Committees, Workgroups, and other related groups. In coordination with the Office and Unit leadership, the Coordinator will serve as the program liaison on other legislative requirements; workgroups; and with other agencies, organizations, and stakeholders. The Coordinator will work with programs from the Behavioral Health Administration and grant funded partners regarding funding, federal criteria, and required reporting. This position will support OPHI leadership with coordinating the activities of the Program and work closely with other Health Care Workforce activities within the Office, Department and with other agencies to achieve the mission of the Office and Department.
