Vector Fleet Management is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in the Bradley, FL area. If you have at least two years of proven Heavy Equipment Mechanic experience or have graduated from a Trade School for Mechanics, Vector Fleet Management wants to hear from you! CDL "A or B" is a real plus!

Responsibilities

  • Perform PMI's on all types of powered equipment
  • Perform selected repairs on equipment involving the summary of components and systems
  • Test drive all types of vehicles
  • Train and assist other mechanics in all areas
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work area and environment, including cleaning shop equipment, floors, and fluid containment areas

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must possess adequate hand tools required to perform routine repairs and maintenance
  • Valid Driver's License and pass drug test and background check
  • Technical education in a related discipline with experience, or on the job experience that includes performing service and repair on vehicles and/or equipment components and systems is preferred
  • Volvo/CAT/Komatsu experience a plus

Nice-to-haves

  • CDL "A or B" license
