About The Position

As a Cardiologist specializing in Heart Failure, you’ll work with a dedicated Advanced Practitioner and RN to provide top-notch care and patient experience. This is a 5 day per week position working at our Wheat Ridge Clinic (western suburb of Denver) at Lutheran Hospital. Lutheran Hospital is a beautiful, brand new (as of 8/2024), 226 bed level II trauma hospital (working towards level I designation). You would continue to grow the Heart Failure program while also seeing general cardiology patients. General Cardiology Call is 1:18 for all 4 hospital sites with 1:6 weekend call/rounding at Lutheran Medical Center. You would be on inpatient service 1 week out of every 6 with no clinic that week.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Residency trained and Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
Fellowship trained in Heart Failure

Responsibilities

Provide top-notch care and patient experience as a Cardiologist specializing in Heart Failure.
Work with a dedicated Advanced Practitioner and RN.
Grow the Heart Failure program.
See general cardiology patients.
Participate in general cardiology call rotation (1:18 for all 4 hospital sites, 1:6 weekend call/rounding at Lutheran Medical Center).
Be on inpatient service 1 week out of every 6, with no clinic during that week.
