Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices required.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion controls.
• Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare, restaurant, senior living, or food service environment preferred.
• Culinary education or formal culinary training preferred but not required.
• Experience with therapeutic diets, texture-modified diets, or senior dining preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of foods in large quantities while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Follow standardized recipes and portion controls.
• Maintain knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Take pride in food quality, presentation, and resident satisfaction.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment.
