Baptist Health is seeking a motivated individual to join the Baptist team as a Health Unit Coordinator in the NICU. This Health Unit Coordinator role is a Full-Time Days opportunity with shifts of 7:00am-7:00pm and is located at Wolfson Children's Hospital Downtown (Jacksonville, FL). We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have confidence working in a clerical role. Health Unit Coordinators (HUCs) are responsible for secretarial activities of the nursing unit.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Positions designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.

Responsibilities
- Answering call lights and phone calls promptly
- Ordering and taking inventory of unit supplies and equipment
- Maintaining patient chart folders
- Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles
- Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
