About The Position

Responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing management of Sutter Health products across commercial and individual lines of business. Serves as an entry point into product management and focuses on building foundational capabilities in product lifecycle execution, market analysis, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination. With the guidance of senior product team members, plays a critical role in enabling product readiness for market by supporting regulatory filings, benefit configuration, competitive analysis, and operational execution within a highly regulated state environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Economics, or related field
  • 1 year recent relevant experience
  • Foundational understanding of health plan structures (e.g., HMO, PPO, EPO) and benefit design principles.
  • Basic knowledge of state regulatory environment and/or federal programs (e.g., Affordable Care Act, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services ).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex datasets and documentation accurately.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and organize data from multiple sources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (data management) and PowerPoint (reporting).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly across teams.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional environments and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, regulated setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or familiarity with product configuration systems, SharePoint, or document management tools is a plus.
