About the position
The position involves providing personal care and support to clients in the community as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA). The role emphasizes caregiver support and flexibility in scheduling, catering to the diverse needs of clients, including those with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Work with clients from diverse backgrounds and disabilities.
Requirements
- New York State HHA or PCA Certificate is required.
- Ability to meet New York state credentialing requirement guidelines for work as an HHA or PCA in NY.
