About the position

In this role, you will lead the Value Center for Manufacturing at Siemens Energy, acting as the DC/IT Partner for the Global Process Owner and overseeing all key IT topics within this function. Your responsibilities include creating, aligning, and implementing the IT service landscape throughout its lifecycle, from planning to operations and eventual shutdown. You will manage a team of managers and internal employees across multiple countries, ensuring strategic alignment between business and IT while driving the development of the Value Center Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategic direction and development of the Value Center Manufacturing with a 5 Mio Euro operations budget and 15 Mio Euro project budget.
  • Manage a team of three managers and approximately 40 internal employees, with plans to grow to over 50, across Germany, Romania, and Mexico.
  • Develop the DC/IT Strategy, Architecture, and Roadmap in collaboration with Global Process Owners and Business Areas.
  • Host the Business Alignment Board for Manufacturing to ensure alignment between Business and IT.
  • Align with key collaborators in Business areas and DC/IT to prioritize projects and ensure they provide business value.
  • Develop a balanced Strategic Workforce Planning for internal and external workforce and build relationships with key suppliers.
  • Leverage standards for DC/IT internal processes and tools, such as ServiceNow.
  • Craft the Communication & Change Management approach for the Value Center, focusing on the User Community and employees.
  • Set up best practice sharing with industry leaders to gain insights and drive impactful changes.

Requirements

  • Completed University studies or comparable education.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a Line Manager, ideally leading managers.
  • 5 years of in-depth experience in Manufacturing, understanding automated and digitalized environments.
  • Experience in IT Strategy & Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Change Management, Data Analytics, and Financial Management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on digital transformation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent networking skills with experience in guiding international teams and engaging business stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and German.

  • Experience with strategic platform suppliers like SAP, ServiceNow, and AWS.
  • Experience working with strategic partners like Accenture.
