About The Position

Halter is seeking an elite growth leader to spearhead sales efforts in the Great Plains region of the United States. This role involves leading a team of 10-20 sales representatives, managing the full customer cycle from new sales to account management, and driving exponential growth towards hundreds of millions in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). The ideal candidate will possess commercial acumen, charisma, a competitive spirit, technical sales expertise, and the ability to achieve ambitious targets. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the agriculture industry by making farming more productive and sustainable. The role requires frequent travel and can be based in the Great Plains, ideally in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, or Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sales strategy, setting headcount requirements and regions, and collaborating with Halter leaders to form targets.
  • Inspire the sales team with a clear vision and lay out targets.
  • Manage the team's weekly inputs, set the team's cadence, and set and track KPIs.
  • Ensure excellent pipeline hygiene.
  • Coach and develop the sales team to improve their skills weekly.
  • Adapt existing processes to develop and implement training programs for the South team.
  • Ensure continuous skill enhancement and alignment with company objectives.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the sales organization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the South team, setting clear performance expectations and KPIs.
  • Provide regular feedback, lead hiring, and manage performance.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes vulnerability and learning.
  • Ensure a seamless and positive customer experience across the entire customer lifecycle.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure customer retention and expansion.
  • Collaborate with Launch, Support, and Product functions for seamless customer touchpoints.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive regional strategy to expand market presence and achieve growth objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and drive initiatives to increase market share.
  • Collaborate with leaders across Halter to align on goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with senior leaders, product, and support teams to ensure exceptional results for the South Team.
  • Build and leverage industry relationships to establish and maintain Halter's brand.
