About the position

As the Head of Sales for Streaming Monetization, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling our streaming monetization business in the United States. You’ll lead our efforts to close deals with top streaming partners, build and manage a high-performing sales team, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders at our target customers. Your insights will directly influence our product roadmap as you gather market feedback and drive strategy for first adopter and scale-stage customer acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Driving Revenue Growth and Market Expansion
  • Originating and Closing Strategic Deals: Secure and expand partnerships with leading streaming platforms and content providers across the US.
  • First Adopter & Scale: Lead the US market launch by winning early adopter customers and then scaling operations as these partnerships mature.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within the streaming ecosystem, leveraging a consultative sales approach.
  • Building and Leading a High-Performing Team
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a best-in-class sales team to support new account acquisition and ongoing account management.
  • Culture of Excellence: Foster a collaborative environment that empowers team members to innovate and exceed sales targets.
  • Executive-Level Engagement and Thought Leadership
  • Customer Advocacy: Interface directly with senior leaders at target streaming companies, convincingly articulating Moloco’s value proposition and securing buy-in at the executive level.
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term relationships that enable deeper collaboration and sustained revenue growth.
  • Influencing Product and Strategy
  • Market Feedback Loop: Gather detailed insights from customers and market trends to inform product development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to shape the roadmap and ensure our solutions remain market-leading.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading high-performing sales teams and driving substantial revenue growth through strategic customer acquisition in a challenger sales environment.
  • Strong strategic execution skills with the ability to develop and implement plans that deliver immediate gains while ensuring long-term sustainability.
  • Proven leadership in team development: Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing sales teams, known for identifying, recruiting, and maximizing impact from ‘force multiplier’ A-players.
  • Exceptional communication skills: Adept at driving cross-functional clarity, alignment, and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Subject-matter expertise: Deep knowledge of streaming advertising and the credibility to advise senior-level marketers on growth strategies.
  • Analytical proficiency: Strong understanding of key performance indicators, ensuring a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Operational excellence: A proven track record of efficiency, scalability, and quality improvement in business operations.
  • Product development insight: Ability to translate customer and market feedback into actionable product development needs in an early-stage, growth-focused business environment.
