About the position

The Head of Finance - Systems Transformation at Aspire Bakeries is a pivotal role responsible for leading the transformation of enterprise systems that enhance business execution, performance, and accountability. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of financial processes and systems, ensuring alignment with business operations while driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the optimization and implementation of a new enterprise management system across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross subject area team members to validate project assumptions and ensure accurate documentation of scope of work.
• Drive the efforts of the Finance team to execute workstreams supporting the overall project plan.
• Gather requirements from the Finance team and assist in optimizing enterprise processes that integrate with Finance oversight.
• Identify suitable technology solutions to be applied for management review and approval.
• Collaborate with IT to manage all aspects of technology projects, including assessing new technology solutions and providing recommendations for Finance and Operational management.
• Manage the scope and timeline of all Finance related technology projects.
• Lead the process design and project management process for the transition of existing business management systems.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions by applying SME knowledge of applications and accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; CPA desirable.
• Strong practical knowledge of financial and operational business processes.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Possess a solid understanding of accounting systems and processes from both capabilities and business perspectives.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency in leading medium to large scale projects and implementing change initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

• CPA or CMA license, or equivalent.
• PMP or other professional project management certification.
• Six Sigma certification.
• Food & Beverage industry/accounting knowledge and ERP systems (SAP ECC and S4/HANA) experience.
