About the position

The Head of Digital Solutions Technology Risk & Governance is responsible for leading the technology risk and governance strategy within S&P Global's Digital Solutions team. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and drive a culture of risk awareness. The position requires a strategic mindset to integrate risk management into the company's operations and to establish a governance framework that aligns with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Digital Solutions risk and governance strategy to protect the brand and enable business capabilities.
• Build out the first line of defense to proactively identify and mitigate technology risk.
• Define Digital Solutions risk appetite, taxonomy, and controls.
• Establish a governance framework across Digital Technology Services, Information Security, and Corporate Platforms.
• Establish and track KPIs related to technology risk and compliance, including third-party risk management.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to integrate risk management into strategic planning.
• Lead risk assessments and partner with Audit to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Drive a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in technology risk management and internal controls implementation.
• Ability to convey complex risk topics to varied audiences, including executive leadership and technical teams.
• Successful track record in a global environment with strong relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• 15+ years of experience in a large global organization leading the technology risk function.
