About the position
The Head JV Girls Lacrosse Coach at Lake Forest High School is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in organizing, coordinating, and promoting quality coaching for the JV girls lacrosse program. This role emphasizes the importance of educational-based athletics and aims to create a positive learning environment for student-athletes while upholding the mission and philosophy of the Athletic Department.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach in organizing and coordinating the JV girls lacrosse program.
- Provide effective instruction to student-athletes.
- Demonstrate leadership to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Supervise and oversee the girls participating in the JV girls lacrosse program.
- Promote the importance of educational-based athletics.
- Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes.
Requirements
- Hold an Illinois Teaching Certificate registered in Lake County.
- Obtain ASEP certificate or complete an approved NFHS coaching certification program.
- Maintain current AED/CPR certification.
- Meet all IHSA coaching certification annual requirements.
