About the position

The Head Coach for Women's Soccer at Calumet College of St. Joseph is responsible for recruiting student athletes and managing the sports program in alignment with the college's policies. The role emphasizes coaching and teaching, with a significant focus on student retention and recruitment activities. The Head Coach will also support the Athletic Department through special events, fundraising, and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Recruit student athletes for the women's soccer program.
• Administer the sports program in accordance with college policies.
• Spend approximately 75% of time on coaching and teaching activities.
• Dedicate 25% of time to recruitment and team travel activities.
• Support the Athletic Department with special events and fundraising efforts.
• Assist with general student recruitment and retention activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
• 1-3 years of college coaching and recruiting experience or extensive high school coaching experience.
• Current coaching certifications or willingness to acquire them.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous coaching experience in a high school or higher education environment.
