About The Position
Paterson Public Schools is seeking a Head Coach for Bowling. This is a seasonal position with dates from November 23, 2026, to March 7, 2027. The position is pending budget availability and is open for ten consecutive days following the posting date on the Paterson Public Schools website. Requirements
- New Jersey Teacher's Certificate OR Substitute Teacher Certificate
- Proof of experience required for substitute certificate holder
- Must be certified in CPR and AED, and holding a current certificate in both
- Must Obtain a "Concussion Awareness and Wellness" certificate or its equivalent, renewed annually
- Must Obtain a "Heat Acclimatization Awareness and Wellness" certificate or it's equivalent, renewed annually.
- All new coaches will have one year after being hired to successfully complete a course in "Sports First Aid".
Nice To Haves
- Coaching experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Must be available daily during the fall sports season.
