About the position

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our Pizzaria in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a great attitude, and a deep understanding of food management and kitchen operations. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen management, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a cohesive team environment.
• Develop new and innovative specials to be featured every week/bi-weekly.
• Oversee inventory control, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and utilized efficiently to minimize waste.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
• Train and mentor kitchen personnel in cooking techniques, food presentation, and hospitality best practices.
• Monitor kitchen operations to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
• Manage food costs and assist in budget planning for the culinary department.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role or in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Proficient in inventory control and food management practices.
• Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
• Knowledge of bartending is a plus, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in both food preparation and presentation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff across all levels of the restaurant.
