About the position
The Head Golf Coach is responsible for various aspects of the Golf Program, such as recruiting within the school, scheduling opponents (in conjunction with the Athletic Director), training, and coaching team members. The Head Golf Coach is required to abide by the AIA/USGA rules and regulations as well as the rules and regulations set by the Kingman Unified School District.
Responsibilities
- Recruit within the school for the golf program.
- Schedule opponents in conjunction with the Athletic Director.
- Train and coach team members.
- Abide by AIA/USGA rules and regulations.
- Follow the rules and regulations set by the Kingman Unified School District.
Requirements
- Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate or Arizona Coaching Certificate.
- Completion of the National Federation of State High School Associations Level I Certification online within forty-five (45) days from date of hire.
- Approval in accordance with the personnel policies of the school district and Arizona Revised Statutes.
- Certification must be on file or recorded in the office of the principal or his/her designee.
