About The Position
The On-Call Handy Person will provide timely and proficient assistance in landscaping tasks as needed. This includes but is not limited to painting, hanging racks, fixing faucets, replacing tiles, and various non-license plumbing or electrical work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
- Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Good time management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must pass pre-employment drug and criminal background checks
Responsibilities
- Mow, trim, and edge lawns and turf areas
- Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery
- Prune and maintain plants, hedges, and trees
- Remove weeds and apply mulch, fertilizer, or other treatments
- Rake leaves and clear debris from outdoor areas
- Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work areas
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
- Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned
