About The Position

We're looking for a rockstar instructor to join our team! Our ideal full-time team member works approximately 25–30 hours per week, with a combination of morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend classes available. Looking for weekend-only hours? We'd love to hear from you, too! Not quite ready to commit to 25–30 hours but interested in becoming part of our team? We still encourage you to apply. We offer consistent scheduling with flexibility that doesn't fit the typical Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM workweek. This is not a seasonal or summer-only position. We're looking for team members who are excited to grow with us and become a long-term part of our amazing community.

The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. Programs offer children a Springboard to Life’s Adventures by using movement-based learning and imaginative play to help build the confidence and skills needed at each stage of childhood. For over 40 years, our trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through parent/child classes, gymnastics, dance and sports prep, plus enjoyable extras like camps, Parentsʼ Survival Nights and Awesome Birthday Bash parties. As a part of The Little Gym team, you will be part of a family dedicated to the growth and development of children all over the globe.

Requirements

• A background in child development, physical education, and/or gymnastics helps as well
• You live to serve! Making others feel good makes you feel good.
• Kids really like you, but their parents really like you too.
• You were voted most likely to be in a good mood by your high school classmates.
• You love to have fun, but you know when to buckle down and do work.

Nice To Haves

• You love having fun, like giving high 5’s, and can play like a child!

Responsibilities

• Introduce kids to the serious fun of education and play, all within The Little Gym's unique learning environment.
• Teach amazing classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (don’t worry, we’ll teach you how!)
• Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience.
• Create a warm, fun, and educational environment for the Children in each class.
• Treat each class and each child as if it’s their first day – EVERY WEEK!
