About the position
The Guidance Counselor at Creekside Middle School will provide direct and indirect services to support students' academic and social/emotional development. This role involves advocating on behalf of students and contributing to the creation of a positive learning environment. The counselor may also be employed under an extended service contract for work before and after the designated school year. Professionalism, strong ethics, cultural competence, and diversity awareness are essential qualities for this position, along with the ability to work cooperatively with administrators and other counselors.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Must hold a valid Ohio Pupil Services certificate/license in School Counseling.
- Ability to pass an FBI/BCI criminal background check.
