About the position
The position of Guidance Counselor at Nashua High School South involves planning and implementing a developmental guidance and counseling program tailored to the student population. The counselor will provide guidance, counseling, coordination, consultation, and referrals for services. Responsibilities include assisting students with academic, emotional, social, or behavioral issues, promoting their growth and development, teaching conflict resolution skills, and helping students understand their rights and the consequences of their actions. Additionally, the counselor will provide career education activities and conduct regular classroom sessions and individual conferences for students facing academic challenges.
Responsibilities
