About The Position

Beloit Health System is looking to add a Per Diem Guest Service Ambassador to our NorthPoint e EVS Team! The GSA is responsible for ensuring that guests (patients, members, and clients) of NorthPointe Health and Wellness experience a delightful first impression in terms of greeting, way finding assistance, environmental safely, and cleanliness. NorthPointe Health and Wellness Guest Services Ambassadors will play a fundamental role in establishing and sustaining guest loyalty.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED referred, not required.
  • Experience in environmental maintenance is desired.
  • Must successfully complete job skills training checklist.
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to effectively communicate is required.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple demands.
  • Integrity as a fully engaged employee.
  • Perform in a manner which ensures delivery of the highest quality of medical services and patient satisfaction.
  • Respect and consideration given to the dignity of each patient, visitor, and fellow employee is a requisite of successful job performance.

Responsibilities

  • Greets each guest in accordance With the Universal Greeting policy.
  • Personally, assists guests in finding their way about the NorthPointe Campus.
  • Identifies and promptly responds to all self-identified safety issues.
  • Maintains the Northpointe Health and Wellness facility in a sanitary and attractive condition.
  • Establishes and maintains positive and professional working relationships with all employees and physicians at the NorthPointe Campus.
  • Has a complete knowledge of the facility, staff, services and hours of operation.
  • Represents NorthPointe to guests, members and the community in a positive, supportive manner.
  • Maintains hard surface and carpeted flooring in accordance with manufacturer requirements and management expectations.
  • Performs minor maintenance tasks such as (but not limited to) light bulb replacement.
  • Performs high and low damp and dry dusting of all environmental surfaces.
  • Cleans and sanitizes restroom and hand wash facilities.
  • Receives, checks in and puts away Environmental supply deliveries.
  • Keeps restrooms and hand-wash facilities stocked with soap, sanitizer and paper products.
  • Keeps furniture positioned properly in accordance with furniture placement schedule.
  • Keeps all furniture clean including soft seating, wood and metal seating and tables.
  • Sweeps and seasonally shovels facility entrances to assure guest safety (activity coordinated with engineering personnel).
  • Interior vacuuming.
  • Window washing (limited to interior and ground level windows).
  • Uses cleaning chemicals and supplies in accordance with manufacturer specifications and uses the required PPE in all cases.
  • Maintains all Environmental Services equipment clean and in good repair.
  • Assists with meeting/event set-up, take down and clean up.
  • Enters work requests into the TMS system for equipment and facility repairs.
  • Collects solid waste from generation points within the facility and from outside trash receptacles.
  • Disposes of solid waste in the dock compactor unit.
  • Collects infectious waste and soiled textiles from generation points and stages it in the designated locations for removal from the facility.
  • Delivers clean textile carts to points of use in the facility.
  • Uses prescribed methods and adheres to established schedules for wet or dry carpet cleaning.
  • Spot cleans carpet and upholstered furniture as needed.
  • Uses prescribed methods and adheres to established schedules for hard surface flooring maintenance, refurbishing and refinishing.
  • Responds to non-hazardous material spills promptly.
