About The Position

The Guest Experience Manager leads front-of-house operations for the European Wax Center Sandusky location, overseeing the reception area, client services, and retail product sales. This role ensures an exceptional client experience, smooth daily operations, and strong performance across all service and revenue areas. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced beauty and personal care environment, with a genuine passion for guest service and team development.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest service and fostering a positive culture
  • Proven ability to drive sales and support team development
  • POS, cash control, and inventory management experience
  • Passion for beauty, wellness, and guest skin care
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of management experience in beauty services, spa, salon, or personal care settings
  • Experience leading teams across service and front desk functions

Nice To Haves

  • Esthetics license or familiarity with waxing services a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead front-of-house operations including scheduling, front desk flow, and service delivery
  • Maintain high guest service standards and resolve guest concerns promptly and with professionalism
  • Develop and enforce opening, closing, and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure every guest consistently receives a welcoming, professional, and exceptional experience
  • Lead hiring, training, coaching, and performance management for estheticians and front desk team
  • Schedule and manage staff based on appointment volume and seasonal demand
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating work environment
  • Reinforce accountability around service standards, performance expectations, and operational protocols
  • Analyze service and retail sales trends and drive upsell and rebooking opportunities
  • Coach team to confidently educate guests on EWC Wax Pass savings, products, and promotions
  • Coordinate with marketing on promotions, membership programs, and client retention efforts
  • Achieve or exceed center goals in service revenue, product, and package sale
  • Oversee POS systems, cash handling, reporting, and daily reconciliation
  • Manage retail product inventory, merchandising, and loss prevention
  • Prepare operational reports and support budgeting efforts
  • Ensure compliance with all operational procedures, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
