Located at the base of Peak 9 and steps from historic downtown, Hotel Alpenrock is designed to help guests experience the very best of Breckenridge. Under general supervision, delivers exceptional bike valet and outdoor concierge services that elevate the Hotel Alpenrock guest experience. This role ensures guests feel welcomed, prepared, and inspired for their mountain adventures by providing prompt, knowledgeable, and personalized assistance with bike storage, retrieval, transportation, and outdoor equipment handling. As an ambassador of the Alpenrock brand, this position helps guests seamlessly connect with the outdoors while creating memorable moments rooted in genuine hospitality and local expertise.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • None
  • Must have general knowledge of basic customer service skills and be fluent in oral and written English.
  • Must have knowledge of local establishments, businesses and the surrounding community in general.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet all guests upon arrival with outdoor equipment
  • Assist guests in unloading their bike equipment from vehicles and safely storing it.
  • Properly tag and track each guests equipment, ensuring no damage during transport or storage.
  • Help guests retrieve their equipment when requested, offering courteous service and timely responses.
  • Provide directions to trails for biking, hiking and other hotel amenities related to winter sports.
  • Assist in keeping bike equipment storage areas organized, clean, and free from hazards.
  • Offer general information and recommendations regarding local conditions, mountain trails, and resort activities.
  • Ensure all guest bike equipment is handled with care and returned promptly.
  • Help maintain a welcoming environment for guests, offering assistance whenever needed in the public areas of the hotel.
  • Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm when interacting with guests.
  • Continuously pursue training and development opportunities, especially in areas related to bike valet service, guest satisfaction, and local outdoor adventure knowledge.
  • Take initiative to offer improvement ideas and recognize the good performance of others.
  • Utilize empowerment to exceed guest expectations and resolve issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
