About the position
The Guardrail & Cable Barrier Installer position involves the installation and repair of guardrails and longitudinal cable barriers. The role requires hands-on experience in roadway maintenance and the operation of various heavy machinery, ensuring safety and compliance with traffic control standards.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair longitudinal cable barriers (LCB) and guardrails.
- Operate heavy machinery such as pounder trucks, wheel loaders, and skidsteers.
- Perform concrete form work, placement, and repairs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with traffic control standards and safety regulations.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of related experience in cable barrier and guardrail installation and repair.
- Experience in operating heavy machinery such as pounder trucks, wheel loaders, and skidsteers.
- MOT Certifications for traffic control are required.
- CDL A or B license is a plus.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in roadway or tollway maintenance.
- Concrete form work and concrete placement experience.
