About The Position

Our AI start-up client is building its go-to-market function for the first time, following the recent hires of Head of Sales and Customer Success and Head of Marketing. The People team needs a dedicated recruiter to own all GTM hiring. This role offers zero-to-one build, high autonomy, and direct interface with senior marketing and CS leaders. This is a six-month contract to hire role, with the potential for conversion sooner than six months. The client is located in Redwood City, and to be considered for Full-Time conversion, you will need to be on-site at least three days a week. The functional priority for hiring is Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.

Requirements

  • Acceptable backgrounds include Sales, Customer Success, or Marketing.
  • A few years of experience across GTM functions.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • 3+ years of recent (within the last 3 years) GTM experience.
  • Startup / zero-to-one experience with high autonomy.
  • Bay Area-based.
  • Ability to commute to Redwood City at least one day a week.
  • Familiarity with Anthropic AI preferred tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Remote applicants from the Bay Area will be considered, but will not have a chance of converting to full-time.

Responsibilities

  • Own all GTM hiring for an AI start-up client.
  • Build the go-to-market function's recruiting processes from the ground up.
  • Recruit for roles in Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Manage an immediate req load including Growth Marketing Lead, Influencer Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, Senior Motion Designer, Community Manager, and Marketing Operations.
