About the position

The Groundskeeper plays a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of apartment communities, ensuring a pleasant living environment for residents. This hands-on position involves working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and office staff to deliver exceptional service and upkeep of the property.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the overall upkeep of the property landscape and exterior image, including cleaning driveways, parking lots, curbs, dumpster areas, and exterior hallways.
• Maintain flowerbeds, plants, and grass areas; perform snow removal and routine pool maintenance.
• Provide world-class customer service by addressing residents' concerns and maintenance needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist the Maintenance staff on various projects as needed.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
• Adhere to Cushman and Wakefield uniform and professional appearance standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and safeguard company tools and equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to take direction in English or Spanish.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to identify and understand the speech of others.
• Punctuality and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and understand written information.
