Responsibilities
- Hauling brush and wood from the tree to the truck, assisting the tree climber, using ropes, various hand and power tools, and cleaning the job site.
- Work with take down crews to ensure good communication between crew.
- Function as a member of a tree crew while progressively learning new skills.
- Operate chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and other equipment as needed on job-site.
- Maintain issued personal gear, crew gear, and equipment.
Requirements
- Competent or willing to learn chainsaw operation and maintenance.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear all PPE required.
Nice-to-haves
- High School diploma preferred.
- 1 year of professional tree climbing/tree trimming/groundman work experience.
