The position involves greeting patients, family members, and visitors at Ochsner Health, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Responsibilities
- Greets patients/visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assists patients in/out of vehicles safely.
- Directs patients/visitors to appropriate departments and answers questions accurately.
- Works harmoniously with volunteers and medical personnel to ensure a steady supply of wheelchairs at front doors.
- Maintains assigned entrances in a clean and orderly manner.
- Participates in activities for personnel development and required training.
- Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, respecting privacy and communication styles.
- Remains knowledgeable on current laws and regulations applicable to the role.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write to communicate and give instructions to patients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
