In addition to greeting and assisting patients, the Greeter/Concierge will be responsible for adapting their communication style to meet the needs of diverse patient populations. This includes respecting patient privacy and providing clear instructions. The position also involves participating in ongoing training and development activities to enhance personal skills and knowledge related to patient care and service excellence. The Greeter/Concierge must remain knowledgeable about current laws, regulations, and accreditation standards that apply to their responsibilities, ensuring compliance at all times. Responsibilities

  • Greets patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Assists patients in and out of vehicles safely.
  • Directs patients and visitors to the appropriate departments and answers questions accurately.
  • Works harmoniously with volunteers and medical personnel to ensure a steady supply of wheelchairs at front doors.
  • Maintains assigned entrances in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Participates in activities for personnel development and required training.
  • Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, respecting privacy and communication styles.
  • Remains knowledgeable on current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory agency requirements.
