About the position

Maintain the aesthetics and playability of the golf course by performing a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains golf course using power and hand tools to perform duties such as: mowing, weeding, edging, course set up, raking sand bunkers, blowing, sod installation, fertilizing, planting flowers and shrubs.
  • Operate and maintain utility vehicles and equipment, following standards and safety guidelines.
  • Deliver 'I Am Proud' service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
  • Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.
  • Mow greens, tees, fairways, approaches, step cut and rough.
  • Rake sand bunkers by hand or with power rake.
  • String trim around trees, bunkers, flowerbeds, signs, ball washers etc.
  • Golf course set up.
  • Maintain flowerbeds.
  • Aerate greens, tees, fairways, approaches and rough.
  • Assist in small irrigation and drainage projects.
  • Edge cart paths, bunkers, irrigation heads, flowerbeds, and yardage stones.
  • Daily shop upkeep and cleanliness.
  • Perform any other such duties, as assigned.
  • Greet every guest, member, and team member with 'I Am Proud' standards and set a positive tone for every interaction.

Requirements

  • Requires basic employment skills in clerical, service or manual areas.
  • Previous golf maintenance experience valued but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License for a minimum of two years.
