About the position

The Graveyard Gas Station Attendant/Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service during overnight shifts, maintaining cleanliness and professionalism, and handling cash and credit transactions. This role requires dependability and strong communication skills, as well as adherence to food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, including wearing a uniform and name tag.
• Collect cash payments and make change, or charge purchases to customers' credit cards.
• Provide customers with receipts for their transactions.
• Keep reports of daily activity and maintain a clean work environment inside the convenience store and outside at the gasoline pumps.
• Ensure all areas of the restaurant are clean and orderly, including customer restrooms and service areas.
• Adhere to all food safety guidelines and practice safety to avoid injury.

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience with a focus on attention to detail.
• Dependability and timeliness are a must.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Must have a food handler card or obtain one within 30 days of employment (company will reimburse).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
