About the position

The position is for a full-time mechanic located at Talons Cove in Eagle Mountain, UT. The job involves the diagnosis and repair of yellow iron equipment, including loaders, track hoes, dozers, and skid steers. The mechanic will also be responsible for the repair and maintenance of screening and crushing equipment and processing plants. The role requires travel to various pits located in Utah, Tooele, and Salt Lake Counties to perform necessary repairs. The pay starts at $20 per hour, depending on experience, with overtime available. Benefits will be available after 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis and repair of yellow iron equipment such as loaders, track hoes, dozers, and skid steers.
• Ability to replace pumps, hoses, engine components, and wear parts as assigned.
• Repair and maintenance of screening and crushing equipment and processing plants.
• Travel to pits located in Utah, Tooele, and Salt Lake Counties to perform repairs.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of yellow iron equipment.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and diesel engine troubleshooting, preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot 12 & 24 volt electrical systems.
• Welding and torching experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.
• Motivated and reliable.
