About the position

The Graphic Designer will support the Graphics Design Manager in creating visually appealing artwork and designs that align with the brand's image. This role involves producing web graphics, marketing collateral, and email campaigns, as well as editing videos for internal newsletters. The designer will be responsible for maintaining an efficient workflow and collaborating with various stakeholders to complete projects successfully.

Responsibilities

  • Support Graphics Design Manager with artwork and designs
  • Create web graphics and marketing collateral consistent with brand image
  • Photoshop retouching and image selection for collateral
  • Design email campaigns
  • Maintain timely and efficient workflow as necessary
  • Edit videos for internal newsletters
  • Plan concept by studying information and materials
  • Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
  • Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
  • Prepare finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors
  • Prepare final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
  • Complete projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years working in graphic design
  • B.A. degree in Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically: InDesign, Illustrator, XD, and Photoshop
  • Familiarity with HTML emails
  • High levels of creativity, and demonstrated ability to generate innovative concepts, designs, and ideas within the timing and scope of a project
  • Adaptable to creative challenges, deadlines, and project requirements
  • Knowledge of digital and print advertisements and associated media requirements and best practices
  • Ability to apply ATI branding on a wide variety of projects
  • Works well both collaboratively and independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant design skills required
