About the position

As an intern on the Creative team, you will create, edit, and manage graphic files for marketing and other corporate needs. As a Graphic Design Intern, you will be responsible for providing support to the Creative team through a variety of projects, (print, digital, web, and others as assigned). The Graphic Design Intern will assist with the development and design of core marketing and corporate materials, collateral event materials, and a variety of other creative tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Creative team with print and digital communication needs including design, art production, and print management.
  • Projects may include web graphics, data sheets, brochures, animations, invitations, product labels, signage, exhibit graphics, Word templates, PowerPoint presentations, and other media as assigned.
  • Organize and archive electronic files and assets as well as print samples.
  • Template creation.
  • Photograph employees during events as needed.
  • Proof and QC print samples pre and postproduction.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions.
  • Adhere to the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.
  • Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree with major in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard office tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Illustration, photography, and video editing skills, preferred but not required.
