About The Position

The Grant Manager for Celebree School’s Pre-K Expansion Grant is responsible for overseeing compliance, documentation, reporting, and operational support related to Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) grant requirements. This role serves as a liaison between school leadership, staff, and MSDE to ensure successful implementation and ongoing compliance of the Pre-K Expansion Grant. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in grant oversight, program compliance, and educational operations. This individual will support school directors and teaching teams while helping maintain the integrity and quality standards of the Pre-K Expansion Grant program. This position for the 2026-2027 school year is approximately 25 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (degree in Early Childhood Education preferred)
  • Previous experience with grant management, program compliance, educational administration, or related fields preferred
  • Knowledge of Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) processes and/or Pre-K expansion programs strongly preferred
  • Experience working in educational environments or with school-based programs preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital reporting systems
  • Ability to travel to assigned school locations as needed

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and supports compliance with all MSDE Pre-K Expansion Grant requirements and regulations
  • Conducts regular school site visits and classroom observations to ensure program fidelity and quality standards
  • Prepares, maintains, and submits required grant documentation, reports, and supporting records
  • Supports school directors and staff with implementation of UPK program requirements and operational expectations
  • Assists with tracking program data, attendance, staffing requirements, and compliance benchmarks
  • Participates in MSDE meetings, trainings, and communications as needed
  • Serves as a resource to school leadership regarding grant expectations, timelines, and documentation procedures
  • Identifies compliance concerns proactively and partner with leadership on corrective action plans when needed
  • Maintains organized records and documentation for audits, reviews, and reporting purposes
  • Collaborates with internal leadership teams to support successful program execution across assigned schools
