About the position
The Grants and Contracts Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines for grants and contracts. This position involves reviewing applications, preparing grants for submission, and acting as a liaison between contracting parties. The specialist will also assist in the development of new program proposals and monitor grant agreements.
Responsibilities
- Review applications, contracts, and grants for compliance with guidelines.
- Assist the director of development in preparing grants and program proposals.
- Act as a liaison between contracting parties.
- Review and process development department grant agreements and foundation requests.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to foundations and grants.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field.
- Three years of progressively responsible experience in the contract field or equivalent training and experience.
