About the position

The Graduate Assistant in the Office of Educator Preparation (EPP) within the College of Education (COE) provides essential support to the administrative staff. This role involves managing correspondence with prospective students, responding to inquiries, and assisting with various administrative tasks. The assistant will work closely with the Director of Innovative Partnerships and the Administrative Coordinator for Field Experience, Pathways, & Partnerships to collect, reconcile, and maintain data related to student placements. Additionally, the assistant will help plan and coordinate events, meetings, and orientations, compile data for reporting, and manage office tasks such as answering phones and maintaining inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to administrative staff in the Office of Educator Preparation (EPP).
  • Manage correspondence with prospective students via email and phone.
  • Assist with data collection and maintenance for student placements.
  • Help plan and coordinate events, meetings, and orientations.
  • Compile data for reporting and distribution.
  • Work with data reporting, analysis, and presentation.
  • Answer multi-line phones and direct calls.
  • Maintain office supply inventory and assist with various office projects.
