About the position

The Product Marketing Manager - Responsibility Marketing at TikTok is responsible for overseeing global marketing initiatives related to Trust, Safety, and Privacy. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance product adoption and understanding across various audiences and regions. The ideal candidate will leverage their product marketing expertise to influence TikTok's products, policies, and communications, ensuring a safe environment for users to express their creativity.

Responsibilities

  • Help shape and promote important Trust and Safety narratives, programs, and product launches globally.
  • Execute Trust & Safety product marketing roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional teams, setting measurable results and owning user & competitive insights.
  • Improve visibility of Trust & Safety and product marketing efforts through continuous communication among relevant teams.
  • Act as the voice of Product to Marketing and vice versa, driving alignment across product and business teams for unified vision and goals.
  • Spearhead global consistency in product marketing launch strategies, including prioritization, messaging hierarchy, product value proposition, and go-to-market plans.
  • Work with research and insights teams to deliver deep audience & competitive insights for product decision making.
  • Partner closely with leaders in product, marketing, PR, public policy, operations, strategy, and finance for seamless cross-functional coordination.

Requirements

  • Passionate about TikTok and its mission.
  • Comfortable working in an experimental and fast-paced environment within a complex, matrixed organization.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent organization, project management, and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of integrity and interpersonal skills, acting as the 'glue' between internal departments.
  • Compelling storyteller who can communicate succinctly and inspiringly to various audiences.
  • Product marketing experience in mobile/tech/consumer products, ideally related to Trust & Safety or Responsibility marketing.
  • Experience in brand safety narratives and campaigns, trust and safety marketing, and reputation building.
