About the position

The Analyst position within the Global Pricing Strategy team at Visa focuses on managing pricing strategies to drive revenue growth and adoption of value-added services globally. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop pricing frameworks, support deal generation, and provide analytical insights that inform corporate priorities. The Analyst will work on various strategic initiatives, contributing to the overall pricing strategy and ensuring alignment with Visa's business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide rigorous quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify and vet opportunities for revenue growth.
• Manage aspects of pricing and deal generation, including business case development and contract negotiations.
• Support the development and refinement of global pricing strategies, including opportunity identification and pricing change planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute pricing initiatives effectively.
• Provide pricing expertise and best practices for disciplined pricing and deal management.
• Build and maintain knowledge of the business landscape to inform pricing initiatives.
• Communicate and build support for recommendations among business leaders across the organization.
• Participate in continuous training with other functions in the Global Pricing & Interchange Strategy team.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
• Superior analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple project work streams and synthesize large data sets.
• Ability to work independently in complex and ambiguous environments.
• Eagerness to work in joint teams with personnel of all levels.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
