About the Team The Client Account Services (CAS) group is responsible for providing ongoing servicing for Institutional clients invested in separate accounts, sub advised, and proprietary TRP products. The group is accountable for leading, managing and influencing the execution of cross functional client requests. This requires liaising between all internal and external stakeholders to ensure all documentation and operational requirements are fulfilled. The group is regionally focused but from time to time is required to support other regions, according to demand and regional team capacity. The team proactively identifies and addresses all client operational needs, offering and developing solutions to optimize the client experience. We strive to have deep engagements across the client experience and look for opportunities to grow and support these engagements. We make every effort to provide a supportive and engaging culture that allows our employees to feel challenged, engaged and valued. Role Summary The CAS Specialist is responsible for servicing our institutional clients holding separate accounts, sub-advised and proprietary TRP products. The Specialist is accountable for owning operational service requests throughout the entire lifecycle of the client. Strong partnership is expected with the Distribution Relationship Managers, ensuring we are showing up as one T. Rowe to the client. Service requests include but are not limited to Investment Management Agreement updates, fee payment modifications, reporting requests, coordination of restricted lists, reconciliation inquiries, establishing new market openings, cash movement execution/monitoring and participation of new counterparty agreements. The Specialist will interact with clients predominantly via email and will be responsible for working with other business partners as needed to provide timely responses. Many client requests have critical, time-sensitive deadlines that must be very closely managed. Some requests will have operational execution requirements that the Specialist must either complete themselves or ensure are completed by required deadlines. Strong partnership to manage service requests is needed with Investments, Legal, ITS, Investment Compliance, Finance, Global Investment Operations and Global Client Investment Reporting. The Specialist exercises proven judgment and discretion in analyzing, evaluating, and executing on servicing complex institutional clients with some direction from more senior members of the team.
