About The Position
PASCO SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 is seeking a Girls Volleyball Assistant Coach for Chiawana High School. This position is responsible for assisting in the direction of all phases of the athletic program and mentoring coaches within the program. The coach will also coordinate out-of-season camps and/or clinics as needed or required. This role requires adherence to all WIAA and district rules, policies, and guidelines, including attending required training regarding concussion management and other WIAA/district requirements for coaching eligibility.
Requirements
- Type 2 license or willingness to obtain.
- Must meet WIAA coaching requirements.
- High School Diploma, required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher.
- Previous coaching experience at high school or collegiate level.
Responsibilities
- Mentor coaches within program.
- Direct all phases of athletic program.
- Coordinate out of season camp and/or clinics as needed or required.
- Attend District training regarding concussion management.
- Attend other district and/or WIAA trainings required to maintain coaching eligibility.
- Follow all WIAA and/or district rules, policies and guidelines.
