The GES Picker/Loader - Warehouse Material Handler position at Frito-Lay involves performing various warehouse duties in a state-of-the-art automated environment. Responsibilities
- Accurately pick appropriate product on an automatic belt picking system using technology such as Pick-To-Light and Vulcan.
- Audit cases for accuracy and resolve issues with problem cases.
- Load trailers via carts or stack cases on the floor of a truck trailer.
- Meet or exceed individual performance time standards.
- Monitor label/print machines for jams and clear them as necessary.
- Operate auto case erector (ACE) and manage carton recycling.
- Unload, sort, orient, bail, and prepare trailers for loading.
- Handle and store carts throughout the warehouse and during loading/unloading processes.
- Perform autonomous maintenance activities as required.
- Complete certifications in various tasks as required.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Distribute product and assist in weekly product inventory.
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks as required.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work at heights using ladders.
