About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is seeking a Geriatrician for a position offering clinical satisfaction, autonomy, and flexibility with a focus on work-life balance. This role involves providing bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. The group provides comprehensive physician-level wound management training, including a fellowship, to ensure clinical excellence. Physicians utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and the latest wound care modalities. The practice is mobile, covering a 40-60 mile radius and visiting 2-3 facilities per day to treat approximately 20-30 patients. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
- Perform clinical documentation in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.
