About The Position

HSHS is seeking PRN Diagnostic/Medical/Vascular Sonographers to work either at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan or St. Vincent Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven individuals comfortable working independently with all age groups using a variety of imaging equipment and systems. The role involves diagnostic, medical, and vascular imaging with a core function in imaging. The schedule is PRN with varied start times between 6 am-8:30 am for 8-hour shifts. The colleague would help cover HSHS Saint Clare Hospital when needed. The compensation is aligned with experience.

Requirements

  • Graduate of or currently enrolled in an allied health program.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
  • Must be eligible to sit for the RVT or RVS exam AND must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program.
  • Experience in ultrasound/sonography.
