About The Position

HSHS is seeking PRN Diagnostic/Medical/Vascular Sonographers to work either at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan or St. Vincent Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven individuals comfortable working independently with all age groups using a variety of imaging equipment and systems. The role involves diagnostic, medical, and vascular imaging with a core function in imaging. The schedule is PRN with varied start times between 6 am-8:30 am for 8-hour shifts, and the colleague would help cover HSHS Saint Clare Hospital when needed. The position is located at St. Nicholas Hospital or St. Vincent Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital in Sheboygan, WI or Green Bay, WI. Compensation is aligned with experience. Requirements

  • Graduate of or currently enrolled in an allied health program.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
  • Must be eligible to sit for the RVT or RVS exam AND must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is preferred.
  • Experience in ultrasound/sonography preferred.
