About The Position

General Surgeons of Gwinnett is seeking a General Surgeon to join an established surgical group. This is an opportunity to build a busy elective surgical practice with access to robotic surgery platforms at both Northside Hospital Duluth and Northside Hospital Gwinnett. The practice includes bread-and-butter general surgery, with preferred clinical interests in Endocrine surgery (thyroid/parathyroid) and/or Foregut surgery being a plus. The role is based in Snellville, GA, and does not involve responsibility for trauma or breast surgery call.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Laparoscopic training required
• Robotic surgery experience required
• 3+ years post-residency required
• Comfortable building up a new practice location
• Strong interest in building a long-term practice
• Active GA medical license or the ability to obtain one
• MD/DO

Nice To Haves

• Preferred clinical interests in Endocrine surgery (thyroid/parathyroid)
• Preferred clinical interests in Foregut surgery
