About the position
Surgical Affiliates Management Group, Inc. (SAMGI) is seeking a dedicated General Surgeon to join our team at Redlands Community Hospital, a 211-bed facility located in Redlands, CA. This role offers a rewarding opportunity for a surgeon with a commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care in a non-trauma setting. With endoscopy experience highly preferred, the ideal candidate will contribute to the growth of our surgical services and collaborate with hospital teams to ensure the highest standard of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality general surgical care with a focus on patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Perform endoscopic procedures (experience preferred).
- Work closely with hospitalists who admit patients ages 15 and older, allowing the surgical team to focus on procedural care.
- Manage acute care surgical consults, with approximately 414 consults/admissions per year.
- Participate in 146 scheduled shifts annually, ensuring a balanced work-life structure.
- Conduct consultations and follow-up visits at a conveniently located clinic across the street from the hospital.
Requirements
- Must possess or be eligible for California medical licensure.
- Board Certified in General Surgery.
- Endoscopy experience is highly preferred.
- Strong clinical focus, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to building long-lasting relationships with patients and hospital teams.
