About the position
The General Service Technician at Midas Tire & Auto Experts is responsible for performing a variety of automotive maintenance services. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and safety of customer vehicles through inspections, diagnosis, and repairs. Technicians will work both independently and collaboratively in a full-service facility, contributing to a successful work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including fluid exchanges and oil changes
- Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections
- Mount, balance, and rotate tires
- Replace batteries
- Change bulbs, belts, and hoses
- Maintain and clean shop areas
- Handle other shop maintenance items as needed
Requirements
- ASE Certification
- Driver's License
- Mechanical knowledge
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Entry level experience (Under 1 year)
